I am an atmospheric scientist whose area of expertise is in studying the climate system. My focus has covered paleoclimate and regional climate with a focus on West Africa. My primary work occurs in West Africa with a focus on Senegal and the surrounding countries. I am currently the director of the Alliance for Education, Science, Engineering and Design n Africa (AESEDA) at Penn State University
